Get Rid Of The "Bricks!"

Lighten Up!

Do not approach your work with "bricks" in your basket! You know what I mean, those programs that just didn't pan out or died before you could take them out of your marketing and advertising mix.

This might seem like common sense advice that everyone should know but I still seeing advertisements for long gone offers floating around in emails, banners, traffic generators and the like.

The sad thing is that marketers who don't remove these programs from the mix run the risk of giving themselves daily reminders of failure. Yes, this kind of negative feedback can subtly intrude on your normally optimistic approach to our very trying business.

You can't always guarantee the success and profit of a program but you can develop a kind of insurance against a losing attitude by getting rid of the bricks!
